I have two exciting announcements this week!
Firstly, every creative longs for a space where they can lock themselves away and work on their lastest masterpiece!
If we can't afford to hire a studio, most of us find ourselves sharing family spaces; working on the sofa or dining room table, storing our equipment and materials anywhere that's not already allocated to family life.
Believe it or not my first children's book retelling the Welsh folktale 'The Giant of Gilfach Fargoed' was completed from my living room!
However, my situation changed this week when my eldest Son 'flew the nest'. While it was sad to see him go, it meant we finally had a spare room!
I no longer have an excuse for procrastination and am very excited to share my new creative space.
I also made a little TikTok video that can be found here:-
Further to moving into my new space, I was also interviewed by The Golden Wizard Book Prize for their new blog; following 'The Giant of Gilfach Fargoed' being recognised by them last year. You can read the full interview here:-
I am very jealous I would love a dedicated space for my jewellery making, we did have one but had to downsize the office due to rising costs so it's back to the living room for me 😞
