I'm not sure about you, but I always find the start to a new year pretty rough. We all over indulge through the festive season to celebrate getting to the end of another year. Then it all starts again (with what seems to be the longest month of the year) in January.
2025 though feels different. Toward the end of last year I was involved with some exciting projects that are going to bear fruit over the next few months. Istead of feeling rough, I thought you might like to see some behind the scenes work from those projects.
First up is the book I've already announced of social media. I worked with Caerphilly based author Arthur Hutt on 'Twiggistan' the sequel to his book 'Twiggies.'
Secondly, I started a project with United Welsh and Ysgol Ifor Bach. The brief was to create a mural that tells the story of the history of the Aber Valley and the children within the community. It will be displayed outside a new housing development in Abertridwr in the coming months. Here ia a little sneek peak of the work in progress (which also includes a cameo from Ifor Bach who's story will be retold in my next children's book 'Ifor Bach Lord of Senghenedd.)
More on the mural project will be announced soon.
If you would like to get hold of 'Twiggistan' you can find it here:-
